We're closest to the 7th Avenue station on the F train line (get off at the 7th Avenue end -- we're just a few doors down the block toward 8th Street). Alternatively, we're a 1/4 hour walk from the Grand Army Plaza station on the 2 or 3 line or the 7th Avenue station on the Q line.

Wine, like everything in and from nature, is about change and renewal -- and about the joys of variety.

As we at Prospect move into this new season, you'll see on our shelves the fruits of our rounds of professional Spring tastings, where we search out new sources of deliciousness to keep you all supplied with interesting bottlings as the weather warms up.

One of the great delights of working with wine (and we who select and "screen" the wines at Prospect collectively have over 100 years of wine experience) is that there's ALWAYS something new awaiting us -- new vintages that reflect the weather and climate in individual ways, gifted new winemakers who appear on the scene, different vineyard areas that come to the fore for a range of reasons.

We aim to share those delights with you, every day in the shop and especially on Saturdays when we hold our tastings, every week, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM (and often on Friday evenings, too). Do come visit us anytime to peruse the shelves, ask questions and discover new wines!
